Lead and execute financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Analyze historical financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital, and financial projections.
Identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities impacting transaction decisions.
Provide transaction advisory services including valuation analysis, deal structuring, and negotiation support.
Assist clients in understanding transaction implications, synergies, and potential integration challenges.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to summarize findings and recommendations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and transaction objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and industry expertise.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery of services.
Oversee and manage multiple transaction projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Provide both leadership and supervision to staff and seniors.
Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes that may impact transactions.
Coordinate services as needed with other practice areas of the firm.
Conduct industry research to support transaction analysis and client engagements.
Share insights and thought leadership with clients and internal teams.
Build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
Experience you will need:
Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
Proven experience leading transaction services or Assurance/External Audit engagement teams.
CPA license required.
Minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experience.
Must have the ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations.
Must be willing and able to travel to client locations up to 25%.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, especially Excel).
QuickBooks and ProSystems experience are a plus.
Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Strong motivation to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service.
Proven verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess excellent people development and delegation skills, including training/instruction and engagement scheduling and budgeting.
Possess executive presence with the ability to be the primary contact for the client and to prepare and present presentations to clients and potential clients.
Creative problem-solving and research ability demonstrating sound decision-making skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
