What you will be doing:

Manage the entire legal process, from investigation and discovery through trial preparation and court proceedings.
Work on cases, including taking depositions, making oral arguments, and attending hearings.
Negotiate settlements and report to clients.
Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.
Research applicable laws and findings to develop appropriate legal strategies.
Examine video, documentary, and physical evidence.
Take depositions and respond to discovery requests.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
Prepare detailed case reports and summaries.

Experience you will need:

4+ years' experience in insurance defense.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Capability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Juris Doctor (J.D) degree.
Admission to the Texas State Bar.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in legal research and writing.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000/year
