What you will be doing:
- Work on both litigation and non-litigation matters for a diverse range of clients.
- Involve in all aspects of practice including pre-complaint investigation, case analysis and strategy, discovery work, depositions, court appearances, administrative matters, union negotiations, assisting in arbitration and trials, client counseling, legal research, and writing.
- Handle EEO litigation, PAGA and class action wage and hour litigation.
- Develop and recruit clients and provide counsel and advice.
Experience you will need:
- 7 years of experience in wage and hour class action defense in California.
- Successful candidates will be highly motivated, possess excellent writing, analytical, and people skills, value a team environment, and will be prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Education:
- Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state of California.
- Must have a California bar license.
- During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
Salary: $150,000 - $215,000/year
