What you'll do:
1. Review the initial disclosure and interview with inventors to further develop the disclosure.
2. Draft the specification of the patent application.
3. Prosecute the patent application, including responding to EPO office actions and conduct examiner interviews.
4. Communicate with client about the prosecution strategies as necessary.
Experience you'll need:
- Licensed Patent Attorney.
- 8-10 years relevant experience, and at least two years of patent prosecution experience in specification drafting and responding office actions in semiconductor and computer science field.
- Has experience in discussing and developing invention disclosure directly with inventors.
- BS in electrical engineering. MS preferred.
- Took classes in semiconductor physics, circuit design, and computer language programming at undergraduate or graduate level.
Salary: $150,000 - $160,000/year
