What You Will Be Doing

• Use Solid Modeling CAD software (Creo or Solidworks) to create models, drawings, and bills of materials for plastic injection molds.
• Perform part model analysis, calculate mass properties, and conduct interference checks using CAD software.
• Design molds for injection and structural foam processes, incorporating parting line splits, cooling, ejection, and mechanisms.
• Ensure mold designs are cost-effective to manufacture and robust for customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet specifications and performance standards.

Experience You Will Need

• Education: High School Diploma and progress toward an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; OR a combination of education and one year of relevant experience/training.
• Proficiency with Solid Modeling CAD software (e.g., Creo or Solidworks).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for safety and the ability to teach and mentor others for success.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and goal-driven personality.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000/year
