What You’ll Do:
- Lead quality control and lab testing for a high-volume textile yarn manufacturing operation.
- Oversee multiple lab facilities, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage a team of lab technicians and quality personnel, driving a culture of excellence.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
- Analyze data from testing and production reports, making data-driven decisions to maintain superior quality.
- Train and mentor teams on quality control protocols and best practices.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in textile manufacturing quality management, with expertise in yarn production and lab testing.
- Strong understanding of textile testing methods, quality audits, and process optimization.
- Experience leading quality teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause investigation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Who We Prefer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or Quality Management.
- Hands-on experience with tensile testers, yarn evenness testers, and moisture meters.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
