What you will be doing:

• Draft and negotiate contracts and advise on related transactions
• Advise on mergers and acquisitions and business entity governance matters
• Advise on choice of entity and create and restructure business entities
• Assist in due diligence efforts and post-deal integration
• Maintain a current working knowledge of laws and regulatory developments
• Structure and draft documents for commercial and finance transactions

Experience you will need:

• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in a law firm environment, developing a book of business and a successful practice over time
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Experience and/or background in business, tax, commercial transactions, lending, finance, or accounting preferred
• Strong drafting, research, and writing skills
• Ability to work effectively with teams and independently, as well as manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work successfully with staff, attorneys at all levels, and firm clients
• Candidate must be licensed or attain license to practice law in the State of Ohio

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000/year
