RBPRSLLC is looking for candidates to fill the position of Cytotechnologist. On-Site position in Modesto, CA. No visa sponsorships supported, no agencies please.

What you will be doing:

• Examine GYN & Non-GYN slides under a microscope to identify abnormalities in cell structure.
• Report negative Pap smear evaluations as final diagnosis.
• Report abnormal Pap smear results to the Pathologist as preliminary findings.
• Perform rapid adequacy assessments at the FNA clinic sites.
• Communicate professionally, courteously, effectively, and accurately with internal and external staff, clients, and physicians using the SBAR system.
• Actively promote positive communications that enhance teamwork.
• Process GYN specimens, if applicable.
• Oversee and re-screen GYN discrepancies while suggesting approaches to management to reduce errors.
• Be responsible for inventory control and stocking of inventory (e.g., FNA clinic).
• Maintain and record laboratory equipment preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with other departments, colleagues, and clients in problem-solving.
• Perform troubleshooting on specimen/test order problems and notify management if applicable.
• Participate in work-related educational seminars, surveys, and in-services (CAP, ASCP; MediaLab).
• Maximize the highest quality performance and productivity throughout the shift.
• Complete all assignments with minimal supervision.
• Ensure all work is performed properly and in a timely manner to meet turn-around time goals.

Experience you will need:

• 2 - 4 years of Cytology experience.
• ASCP certification.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary: $85,000 - $130,000/year
