RBPRSLLC is looking for candidates to fill the position of Litigation Attorney (Plaintiff-side litigation). On-Site position in Jersey City, NJ or Wayne, PA. No visa sponsorships supported, no agencies please.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with finding, evaluating, and initiating new cases
• Develop strategies for advancing and resolving cases
• Formulate and draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, briefs, etc.
• Professionally and promptly communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of complex Excel files, e.g. damage models, time audits, etc.
• Assist with the negotiation of settlements and motions for approval thereof
• Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of FLSA and/or other profitable niche areas
• Comply with firm protocols regarding billing of time and organization of matters

Experience you will need:

• 3+ years of experience with plaintiff-side litigation
• Experience with the FLSA and analogous state wage-and-hour laws
• Experience with class/collective actions and/or federal court practice
• Strong writing and research skills, with the ability to draft high-quality pleadings and briefs
• Experience with the client intake/retention process, ensuring clear and compassionate communication
• Bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
• A proactive approach to pushing cases forward and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work full-time from our offices in either Jersey City, NJ or Wayne, PA
