Regional Sales Manager (Forklifts/Industrial vehicles)

RBPRSLLC is looking for candidates to fill the position of Regional Sales Manager (Forklifts/Industrial vehicles). On-Site (local travel) position in Charlotte, NC. No visa sponsorships supported, no agencies please.

What you will be doing:

  • Direct all sales efforts within the designated territory, including New & Used OEM Product Sales, Rental Activity, and Allied Sales efforts.
  • Develop and implement a business plan, manage assets, improve processes, and monitor budget and sales units/dollars.
  • Manage growth and profitability of the sales and rental market share for Material Handling products to meet company expectations.
  • Motivate, develop, and manage the performance of the department's staff to achieve overall goals related to market share, profit, and business plan.
  • Provide training and development, plan sales coverage, develop accounts, monitor sales calls, and prepare reports.
  • Manage the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for every sales transaction in the territory to ensure the company collects on everything sold.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Hyster-Yale and other supplier partners.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to uphold a standard of excellence in customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience you will need:

  • High school education with technical training; a four-year degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Technology, Business, Marketing) is preferred.
  • Previous successful experience as a Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Commitment to continuous education demonstrated through developing a sales team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
  • A current valid driver’s license must be maintained as driving is an essential function.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database systems; prior Salesforce experience preferred.
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000/year
