As a Project Sales Account Executive, you'll drive major repair, retrofit, and upgrade opportunities while building long-term relationships with existing commercial clients. This role is perfect for someone with a strong grasp of HVAC systems, a proven sales track record, and a desire to help customers improve energy efficiency, system reliability, and building performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and close large-scale HVAC project opportunities within an established customer base
- Survey and assess commercial HVAC systems; develop effective upgrade and repair solutions
- Create compelling sales presentations with ROI-focused proposals
- Manage quotes through to close, working closely with operations to meet customer expectations
- Deliver strategic recommendations using asset replacement schedules, ASHRAE standards, and lifecycle analysis
- Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing customer concerns and providing long-term system strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with service, engineering, and project management teams
- Leverage vertical market knowledge and sales tools to generate revenue and expand accounts
Experience You’ll Need:
- 5–7 years of successful sales experience, ideally in commercial HVAC or mechanical services
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, lifecycle planning, and retrofit sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Excellent client communication and consultative selling skills
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with building codes and standards
- Proficient in qualifying leads, handling objections, and delivering technical ROI pitches
- Valid driver’s license (local travel required)
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000/year
