Summary
Join a growing mechanical service and energy efficiency leader with a national footprint and local expertise. As a Sr. Account Executive, you’ll focus on selling preventative maintenance agreements and HVAC service contracts to commercial and industrial clients. While your primary focus will be service agreements, you’ll also have the opportunity to pursue select retrofit or small-scope mechanical projects when aligned with customer needs. This is a field-based role ideal for a consultative seller with a technical mindset and a strong network in the Chicagoland area.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Sell preventative maintenance agreements and HVAC service contracts to building owners, facility managers, and operators
  • Identify and pursue retrofit opportunities or small project add-ons in parallel with service agreements
  • Act as a trusted advisor by tailoring solutions to each client’s technical and operational needs
  • Lead customer engagement through job site walk-throughs, proposals, and presentations
  • Partner with service operations and field teams to ensure contract success and retention
  • Manage RFPs, quotes, and customer communications through the full sales cycle
  • Track pipeline activity and customer engagement using CRM tools
  • Build relationships at local industry events, client visits, and facility tours
 
Experience You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of successful HVAC or mechanical services sales, ideally with a direct-to-owner focus
  • Strong track record selling multi-year service agreements and renewals
  • Experience identifying project-based upsell or retrofit opportunities is a plus
  • Skilled in consultative, solution-based sales with long-term client strategy in mind
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder across field and office environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Salary: $120,000 - $125,000/year
