What you will be doing:

• Work with our Chambers-rated Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Business Services groups.
• Engage in various capital transactions across the United States and internationally.
• Handle M&A, general corporate work, and transactions with privately held companies.
• Participate in corporate transactions with direct client contact and responsibility for negotiations.

Experience you will need:

• 3 - 5 years of strong transactional experience, including M&A and general corporate work.
• Experience working with privately held companies.
• Strong academics and analytical skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Experience in a large regional or national law firm.
• Desire to work on a range of corporate transactions.
• Finance and private equity experience is a plus.
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice law in Virginia.

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000/year
