RBPRSLLC is looking for candidates to fill the position of Business Development Manager. On-Site position in Greensboro, NC. No visa sponsorships supported, no agencies please.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and develop new and existing accounts to grow business in an organized and profitable manner.
- Create a list of prospective customers using various sources.
- Determine the validity of accounts and/or prospects through telemarketing.
- Visit clients in face-to-face meetings based on customer needs.
- Enhance and develop new business opportunities for client.
- Interact with the internal operations team to create a joint account growth strategy.
- Develop and maintain a target account list with continual updates.
- Maintain accurate sales records including weekly telemarketing activity and account growth updates.
- Maintain relationships with clients and monitor trends to forecast changes in client business.
- Identify unprofitable or below-market rates and propose necessary adjustments.
- Evaluate customer needs, prepare sales presentations, negotiate rate proposals, and provide customer service follow-up.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints.
- Develop and implement processes using technology to partner with customers.
- Review weekly A/R reports and assist accounting in collections.
- Secure information from other departments regarding sales leads and customer performance.
- Work on special projects as needed.
- Provide the Regional Director of Operations with an annual list of goals.
- Support the clients Quality Management System and its objectives.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to promote quality improvement processes.
Experience you will need:
- Minimum of 5 years of transportation/logistics sales experience.
- Excellent work history with a proven track record.
- College degree in marketing, business, transportation, or a related field.
- Strong computer/PC skills (Excel, Word) including typing.
- Professional, clean, and neat appearance.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- No convictions of serious crimes.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000/year
