What you will be doing:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in the upstream and midstream oil and gas sectors in the Permian and Eagle Ford basins.
- Leverage your established network of decision-makers in oil and gas operators, upstream and midstream companies, to generate leads and close deals.
- Execute a comprehensive sales strategy to build a strong pipeline of opportunities and increase revenue from new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders across the industry, ensuring a strong and ongoing presence in the market.
- Understand the operational needs of clients and offer tailored facility engineering solutions that address their challenges and objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the sales process and project execution, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead the development of comprehensive proposals and presentations, working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Oversee the RFP response process, including negotiations of terms and contract agreements.
- Act as a key point of contact during contract negotiations, project planning, and post-project follow-up.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for business expansion.
- Report regularly to senior management on business development progress, sales pipeline, and market insights.
- Keep track of key metrics, forecast future sales, and provide actionable insights to guide the company's growth strategy.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and services for clients.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings to help align business development efforts with overall company goals.
Experience you will need:
- 5+ years of proven business development experience in the upstream and midstream oil and gas sectors, with a focus on facility engineering services.
- Strong, established network within the oil and gas industry, specifically in the Permian and Eagle Ford basins.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business, managing client relationships, and closing high-value contracts.
- In-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry, including key processes, technologies, and facility engineering requirements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and other sales management software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A technical background or experience in facility engineering is a plus.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/year
