What you will be doing:
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the facility
- Estimate bids and proposals to meet customers' deadlines compliant with Quality Management System Policy and Procedures
- Take complete ownership of customer projects for various products and services including communicating with the customer, sales order entry, purchasing of required materials, scheduling through production, shipping to the customer, and installation at the customer site if needed
- Participate with all aspects of the operation to meet the financial budgets and goals of the operation
- Participate in the program for compliance with all aspects of the profit center with the corporate quality management system
- Provide direct oversight of all aspects of divisional employee management, including motivating team members, setting clear expectations, and providing the support and resources necessary to ensure both individual and team success
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and cost-based offerings for select international projects
- Coordinate and oversee all direct labor and subcontractors for divisional projects with the project team while also managing projects directly
- Qualify and oversee subcontracts and vendors
- Ensure compliance and mentor the ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System within the operation
- Challenge the project team to identify and implement cost and time-saving measures
Experience you will need:
- 5-10 years' manufacturing operations experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in operations management and/or business administration, technical degree or related field
- Financial and account reporting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software, with the ability to learn new applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000/year
