Summary
A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Attorney to join its commercial litigation team in Pittsburgh. This is a dynamic opportunity to work on complex federal court matters, including ERISA litigation, employment disputes, municipal defense, and commercial torts. The ideal candidate brings strong legal writing, courtroom exposure, and the ability to manage both individual caseloads and collaborative litigation strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Handle a range of commercial litigation matters in federal and state court, including ERISA claims
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and briefs with minimal supervision
- Serve as lead or supporting counsel across a mix of high-stakes litigation files
- Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and support pre-trial and trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients, manage litigation timelines, and lead strategic discussions
- Participate in internal practice group collaboration and contribute to professional development initiatives such as writing and speaking
What You’ll Need
- 3–6 years of experience in commercial litigation
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and in good standing
- Strong writing and analytical skills, with experience drafting federal court pleadings and briefs
- Prior clerkship, internship, or experience in the U.S. District Court system (preferred)
- ERISA litigation or employment defense experience required
- Excellent organization, judgment, and communication with clients and colleagues
- Annual Billing Req 1,900 hours

Salary: $107,000 - $150,000/year
