Structural Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Work on large Senior Living, Independent Living Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Surgery Centers and Multifamily High-rise projects, both new construction and renovation.
  • Manage assigned projects, ensuring total quality of all engineering efforts to meet client expectations within budget and schedule.
  • Oversee the performance of the team assigned to each project according to design standards, practices, and policies.
  • Participate actively in project meetings during design and construction activities to represent the company.
  • Prepare graphic and written construction documents.
  • Lead or self-direct site visits to evaluate various facility types during assessment of the existing structure.
  • Identify and solve problems during design or in the field during construction.

Experience you will need:

  • Florida Licensed Professional Engineer - Required
  • Experience in commercial, senior living, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, multifamily, and high-rise projects.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in an architectural-engineering environment in structural design.
  • Proven track record of designing appropriate structural systems within client budgets and time limitations.
  • Ability to manage projects through proper prioritization and scheduling of tasks.
  • Experience with the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) on healthcare design.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021, Autodesk Revit 2021, RISA 3D, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to provide high-quality, well-coordinated, and technically proficient structural engineering design solutions.

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000/year
