A well-established and rapidly growing general contractor with a 35-year track record of excellence is seeking a driven and collaborative Preconstruction Manager to support business development and marketing efforts in the Salt Lake City region. This role is ideal for a candidate with a background in the architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry who brings creativity, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to identifying opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving preconstruction success.


What you will be doing:

  • Support business development efforts by identifying leads, coordinating client meetings, and participating in industry events.

  • Create and customize marketing materials including brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and RFP/RFQ responses.

  • Manage CRM dashboards and maintain up-to-date client and opportunity tracking.

  • Conduct market research to inform strategy and identify new growth areas.

  • Assist with budget preparation, bid coordination, and pre-project submissions.

  • Contribute to brand presence through social media engagement and public relations content.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the company maintains a strong presence in multiple market segments.


Experience you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5 years + marketing and/or business development experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or related industry preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and proofreading abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM platforms.

  • Self-motivated and adaptable with excellent multitasking and organizational skills.

  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take on tasks of all sizes.

  • Demonstrated curiosity about business strategy and industry trends, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000/year
