Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed or early-career attorney with an interest in residential real estate law. You'll work on a high volume of closings and gain hands-on experience interfacing with clients, lenders, brokers, and title companies. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, tactful under pressure, and eager to build a career in a fast-paced, high-efficiency legal setting.
What You’ll Do:
• Conduct in-office residential closings with buyers, sellers, and lenders
• Review title searches, closing documents, and resolve title curative issues
• Ensure compliance with legal standards in closing documentation
• Communicate proactively with clients, lenders, and brokers throughout transactions
• Coordinate with title companies and manage documentation flow
• Assist with additional firm matters and related legal tasks as assigned
Experience You’ll Need:
• JD from an accredited law school and NC bar admission (required)
• SC bar admission a plus
• 1+ years of residential real estate law experience preferred, not required
• Notary Public certification in NC or ability to obtain before start
• Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
