Associate Attorney/Senior Bankruptcy Attorney

RBPRSLLC is looking for candidates to fill the position of Associate Attorney/Senior Bankruptcy Attorney. On-Site position in Cleveland, OH. No visa sponsorships supported, no agencies please.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage an individual case load under the supervision of a senior attorney.
  • Conduct research, motion writing, and attend court appearances.
  • Travel to outlying courts as required.
  • Assist in managing and overseeing Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, including preparation and filing of necessary legal documents.
  • Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and hearings.
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate and timely case management.
  • Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations.

Experience you will need:

  • Actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-1 years of experience and a Bankruptcy Attorney with at least 3 years of experience, ideally with a background in creditors' rights.
  • Experience handling Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Ohio Bar admission is required.
  • Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy laws and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.

1. Senior Bankruptcy Attorney (Creditors' Rights)
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our team in a full-time, in-office capacity.
Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in bankruptcy law, specifically in creditors’ rights

  • Must be licensed and in good standing

  • Court appearances required

  • A book of business is not required but is welcomed

  • Compensation is based on experience and the value brought to the role

  • Full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM)


2. Associate Attorney – Deeds Department
This entry-level position is ideal for a newly licensed attorney.
Requirements:

  • Active Ohio bar license (no suspensions or accommodations)

  • 0–1 year of legal experience

  • Full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM)

  • Starting salary: $55,000–$60,000 or potentially lower, depending on experience

    Note: Immediate hiring for the Associate Attorney role.
