What you will be doing:
- Direct and oversee all operational aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Improve and maintain efficient workflows across departments and job sites.
- Establish and track KPIs, reporting systems, and process improvements to drive accountability and productivity.
- Serve as a primary liaison for high-value clients throughout project life cycles.
- Proactively address client concerns and maintain strong, ongoing relationships.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through communication, trust, and reliability.
- Partner with the sales team on business development strategies, estimates, and proposals.
- Represent the company in client meetings and at industry events to help generate new business leads.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the President to set and execute long-term strategic goals.
- Provide leadership insights on forecasting, resource allocation, and project planning.
- Contribute to company-wide decision-making and cultural alignment.
- Mentor and manage key operational staff, fostering a positive and performance-driven culture.
- Participate in hiring, training, and professional development planning for project and field teams.
- Champion collaboration across departments and job functions.
Experience you will need:
- 7+ years of construction operations leadership experience, ideally within custom new residential building.
- Proven ability to manage complex construction projects and client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills with client-facing and team leadership experience.
- Experience supporting or leading sales efforts in a construction environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Deep knowledge of permitting, scheduling, budgeting, and construction best practices.
- Must have local experience.
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000/year
