What You Will Be Doing
Department Leadership & Oversight
Lead daily operations of a 14-member Commercial Client Service team.
Ensure efficient workflows, quality service, and performance benchmarks.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Claims teams.
Serve as the escalation point for client or carrier issues.
Lead hiring, coaching, and performance management for the team.
Track strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
 
Training & Development
Lead onboarding and continuous education for team members.
Mentor staff to grow technical and service expertise.
Conduct audits and feedback sessions to enhance skills and processes.
 
Operational Management & Compliance
Ensure adherence to agency policies, industry regulations, and carrier standards.
Evaluate vendors and introduce tech/tools to enhance service efficiency.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory updates in the Commercial P&C space.
 
Experience You Will Need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial Insurance (middle-market focus).
At least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
Active NYS Property & Casualty License.
Industry designations (e.g., CIC, CPCU) preferred.

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000/year
