What you will be doing:

  • Oversee the manufacturing operations at the SCT paperboard folding carton facility, including all converting, printing, and maintenance teams.
  • Ensure the safety of all team members and the quality of all products produced.
  • Drive performance with purpose and process optimization.
  • Manage supply chain and oversee cost management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to contribute to strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Support compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relations to promote cost-effectiveness and high service levels.
  • Oversee the management of schedules for team members to ensure optimum staffing levels.
  • Participate in customer and supplier presentations, plant tours, and industry events to promote the SCT brand.
  • Recognize, motivate, and celebrate outstanding performance among individuals and teams.
  • Lead and drive the pursuit of Clients Mission, Vision & Values.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure open lines of communication between management and team members.

Experience you will need:

  • Ten years’ experience in leadership roles in Folding Carton paperboard manufacturing, operations. Need Folding Carton experience, not Corrugate, Metal packaging, Plastic packaging, or laminated packaging.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma strongly desired.
  • Strong background and understanding of safety and quality systems necessary.
  • Familiarity with various types of paperboard production machinery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a closely related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications - Word, Outlook, and Excel.
$120,000 - $130,000/year
