What You Will Be Doing
Technical Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead complex environmental engineering projects including civil, industrial wastewater, and remedial design.
- Oversee design analysis, cost estimation, permitting (PA/NJ), and construction oversight.
- Ensure compliance with federal (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, OSHA, TSCA) and state-level environmental regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, specifications, and operation & maintenance plans.
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and documentation for projects like Superfund and brownfield remediation.
Management Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor engineering staff on project execution and professional development.
- Plan and implement local growth strategies in coordination with marketing.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and business development functions.
- Maintain chargeability and support cross-office client communication and satisfaction.
- Ensure project teams deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.
🔹 Experience You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years in environmental engineering with 6+ years in leadership roles.
- Current New Jersey PE license is required.
- Experience in landfill design, wastewater treatment, and groundwater remediation.
- Strong technical writing, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and ability to travel regionally.
$130,000 - $140,000/year
