Summary:
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a track record in financial reporting, process improvement, and team management. You’ll oversee daily accounting operations, lead audit readiness efforts, and drive compliance with regulatory and internal financial standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a balance of technical skills and team mentorship.

What You’ll Do:
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members to meet department goals
• Prepare and review journal entries, reports, and financial statements
• Lead process improvement initiatives and track impact of changes
• Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure accurate documentation
• Support billing and freight reconciliation tasks as needed

Experience You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years in accounting with team leadership or department oversight
• Strong grasp of GAAP and compliance standards

• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables), and accounting tools
• Experience with MS Great Plains and automation tools a plus
