Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trust and Estate Paralegal to join its growing team. In this client-facing role, you’ll support financial advisors by reviewing and summarizing estate planning documents, modeling estate plans, conducting legal research, and assisting with trust and estate administration. This is a hands-on, collaborative position requiring excellent judgment, organization, and the ability to communicate clearly with advisors and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, interpret, and summarize client estate planning documents (e.g., wills, revocable/irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney)
- Model estate and trust plans using internal planning tools
- Provide legal research support on estate, gift, and trust-related issues
- Coordinate with attorneys, advisors, and clients on trust and estate strategy
- Track estate planning progress and assist in document management and compliance
- Stay current on estate planning laws, especially those impacting high-net-worth individuals
- Contribute to the seamless integration of estate planning within the firm's holistic wealth planning process
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of trust and estate planning or administration experience
- In-depth understanding of estate planning concepts, trust structures, and legal documentation
- Paralegal certification or J.D. (non-practicing attorneys welcome to apply)
- Strong research, document review, and drafting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage sensitive client information with discretion
- Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Local presence required — this is a full-time, on-site role in Doylestown, PA
