A respected and well-established engineering firm known for delivering integrated design solutions to commercial, utility, and industrial clients is seeking a Site/Civil Design Engineer to join their collaborative Power group. The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years of experience in civil site development or transportation, strong technical proficiency, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to engineering design and project coordination.
What you will be doing:
Design and prepare grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water, and utility systems for civil site development projects.
Create detailed drawings and perform engineering calculations using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Support permitting processes, environmental compliance, and utility coordination.
Conduct field inspections and assist in the preparation of proposals and client documentation.
Collaborate with structural and electrical engineers to meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget goals.
Attend internal and client meetings to support project execution and maintain client satisfaction.
Contribute to a positive work culture through strong communication, professional conduct, and ongoing technical development.
Experience you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
3–8 years of experience in site development, transportation, or a related civil engineering discipline.
PE license preferred, or the ability to obtain licensure within one year.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with strong skills in Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform occasional fieldwork, including site visits in varied weather and terrain conditions.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
