Identify, design, develop, and optimize the battery and Energy Storage system that will be integrated into multiple platforms
Managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products.
Monitor the market and competitors, and develop competitive analyses
Identify, and analyze battery system level requirements and deliver the requirements to other departments.
Work as a technical liaison to discuss and negotiate with clients to encounter RFQ – requirements.
Define the product vision and strategy, and translate it into requirements for engineering teams;
Responsible for technical design analysis, trade-off studies, and design reviews with project leads.
Lead or support battery system development with the R&D team to ensure that all the technical deliverables (design, integration, HW, SW) can be implemented on a system level based on customer requirements and internal project goals.
Responsible for the development and integration of battery system from technical concepts to SOP of product
Track and report the project status for continuous improvement of systems functions.
Responsible for the product integration with the experience of EESE or EE subsystem integration
Interface with battery component suppliers and 3rd party testing / certificate facilities
Some necessary business travel may require.
Oversee a team of product professionals, and manage department budgets
Understand and communicate the product's selling points, and represent the company at customer visit or public events.
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electric-drive Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
A minimum of 1 year of transportation battery experience is preferred.
Experience with Lead acid, Li-ion Battery or Energy storage systems.
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute deliverables in an occasionally high-pressure environment.
