Labor & Employment Attorney

RBPRSLLC is looking for candidates to fill the role of Labor & Employment Attorney. Hybrid working opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. No visa sponsorships supported, no agencies please.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Working on litigation and non-litigation matters for a range of clients, from small businesses to large corporations.
- Handling various aspects of employment defense litigation, such as:
  - Pre-complaint investigation, case analysis, and strategic planning.
  - Drafting and responding to discovery.
  - Taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and appearing in court.
  - Managing administrative matters before agencies like DLSE, NLRB, DFEH, and OSHA.
  - Supporting union negotiations, arbitration, trials, and mediations.
  - Providing counseling, client development, and advice on employment law matters.
- Conducting legal research and writing in diverse employment law areas, with a focus on single-plaintiff EEO, PAGA, and wage and hour class actions.

Experience You Will Need:

- **Required**: 2-7 years of experience in California labor and employment law defense litigation.
- **Preferred**: Experience with class actions and California litigation.
- Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, take on responsibilities, and be highly motivated.
- Bilingual abilities (a plus).
- **Education**: Juris Doctor degree, licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
